Yeah ... it's the kind of word you see in Shakespeare or Spenser, so any kid named that probably has snooty English professor parents who think they're being clever.

Then again, I know of a couple who are English professors and they have a daughter named Una. *sigh*

Peerless just makes me think of the football player Peerless Price. (Don't know what his parents do for a living.)

Una is more usable than a lot of the Faerie Queen names (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Faerie_Queene), I think. Britomart, for instance, just sounds like a grocery store. ;)

Britomart has kind of grown on me, actually. And Una's not bad either ... I would just be afraid of people pronouncing it Yoo-na :S
