We found out today that my sister-in-law and brother will be having a baby girl. It's kind of exciting, considering their baby and our babies are going to be only four months apart. =]

They already have a daughter, Savannah. Suggestions for their new baby girl?

I was thinking Eden. Thoughts on that? I think it's cute, and that it's not too obvious a trend that they are place names. And yes, I know that they are the names of Marcia Cross' twins.

I like Eden too, but Marcia' Cross's twins are called Eden & Savannah, so yeah ;) (Article here (http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20012467,00.html)).

And they're looking for something that sounds good. Since our babies will be growing up together, they want the name to be more classical like our choices: Eleanor, Amelia, and Henry.

I second Charlotte and Victoria. I think Amelia is out, since the OP is using it, but it is lovely. Charlotte might be too much with Savannah, but it is lovely. Chelsea fits very well with Savannah, IMO, but less well with the OP's names.

I don't consider Eden a place name at all. The only reference to a place I would consider is the Biblical reference, but I'm not christian so it isn't one I think of instantly.

I do love the name Eden and Savannah together but being a big Marcia Cross fan, that is all I think of.

i think eden and savannah are a good match. no one will care or even remember any of these pop culture references a few years from now.
