That was my great-great-grandmother's name & while I think it was great back in the early 1900's.. notsomuch now. My great-grandmother actually mentioned to my mother that she should name me after her.. I love a family name and all.. but I'm glad my mom chose something else. To me, Olive reminds me of two things: Olive Oil from Popeye, and obviously the food.. I guess it's not awful, but Olivia is so much prettier, especially for when the person is a small child.
