I just had my baby 2 nights ago, and after 14 hours of labor, 3 hours of pushing and then eventually ending in a 30 min C-section, I was finally handed my beautiful baby girl. With a full head of blond hair and (so far) blue eyes,  I named her Adelynn Marie. And she looks soooo much like an Addy to me.

Good luck to all the Mommy's out there looking into names. It's fun while it lasts, but the second your bundle of joy (or chub :) ) is born, the name will fit s/he and you will know it was the right choice.

Congrats! What a ridiculous amount of hell you had to go through :\

I will say that sometimes the name doesn't fit when they're born. It took us 2 months to realize the twins's names didn't work at all, and we ended up changing them.

Out of curiosity, what were their original names and what did you change them to?

They were Stella Francesca & Luca Gianni; now they're Isadora Carese and Demetrio Gabriele.

Heh, I never knew someone who changed their kids names well after they were born. It's a little unusual, but totally a good idea. You don't want to be stuck with names you REALLY don't think fit.

I wish I had thought of that. I really do not like my daughter's full name, but she's already 2, so I don't think I could change anything now. haha.

Haha I know, thats what everyone told us. It was actually like a month after they were born that we changed it, though. They didn't know their names yet so we figured it was okay.

My Aunt and Uncle changed my cousin's name after 6 months.
It was very confusing for awhile.
