I keep a file on my computer with baby names I like for future reference and I update it every so often. However, I have issues coming up with middle names - Any ideas for these? Oh, and for reference, my last name will be Norman as of June.

Hayden (Probably won't use this as it would cause confusion to my nephew Aidan)

Can you tell I like names that end in the letter 'N'? Which kinda stinks since our last name begins with that letter. Oh well.

I know they're overdone, but that's not why I picked them. I picked them as they're favorite characters from novels that my fiance and I love.

We would love to honor our parents, but it's hard when you have names like:

Lance Milton (father-in-law)
Kenneth George (my estranged father)
Audrey Susan (my mother)
Suzanne Rose (mother-in-law)

I LOVE:
Kenneth
Audrey
Susun (I prefer Susannah, which is still honouring both mother's equally)
Rose

Lance is acceptable, just not my taste.

I like Rose, but all of my fiance's female cousins (and I mean ALL) have the middle name Rose, so I'm trying to stray from that.

I like Lance but it reminds me of Lance from Nsync, who I loved back in the day, but not now.

We got Balian from the movie Kingdom of Heaven. It reminds me of baleen too, but I still like it for an odd reason.

Not sure yet, I only really have heard it pronounced one way, like Kiera Knightly the actress.

I'm really sick of any boys names that end in -en, -on or -an.

With honouring names, I like Avery Susan, or Avery Susanna.

Avery Kenneth and Avery Lance both work well too!

I kind of am too, but it's all I hear so I lean toward those names. I have lots of them in my family - Ben, Jon, Sharon, Steven, Brandon, Bryan, Berman, etc.

I think Avery is my favorite of the bunch.

I don't mind Ben, Jon and Steven.

It's the Caden, Jayden, Aidan, Brayden, trend that I hate.

Jayden isn't my favorite, but the fiance likes it. I'd prefer Jaylen to Jayden. And my brother-in-laws fiancee has a son named Aidan - I really hate that name.

We like alot of the same names, and tons of my favorite names end in 'N' also.

I like Lyric, but I don't think it'll fit for a first name. Maybe as a middle?

I love N ending names, too bad a lot of them are so overused.
