I was at Winner's and this woman and her sister were looking at little girl dresses for the woman's upcoming wedding. They were for her daughter to wear as a flower girl. They kept saying her name, and I wasn't sure if I was hearing it right at first, but sure enough, her name was...

Ocean.

I don't know what you guys think, but I think it's horrendously tacky. Not to mention the fact that we live on a small island... I just don't like the sound of it.

Not to generalize people, but she looked like the kind of person who would have thought it was brilliant to name her kid that, and probably has matchy names for future kids, like Sand or Seaweed or something...

I believe Oceane is a very common name in France, top 10 on the girl's list.
