[identity profile] spikes-sexkitty.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] babynames
So here are some more names that have crossed my desk since mid month when i last posted

Lucresha (f) - odd, but not terrible. i just don't like the conotation.
Desira (f) - not sure, i'm thinking it's pronounced 'Desire-uh'
Philyyaka (m) - I'm thinking he goes by 'Phil'...
Rupinder (f) - ?????
Silveria (f) - don't even know what to think about this one....
Jaquelia (f) - would be a lovely name - if there were a "c" before the "q"
Dara (f) - again, i think it unusual, but not bad. has a nice meaning behind it.
Krissandra (f) - ok, seriously....
Pasqual (m) - i actually kinda like this, mostly b/c i know what it means lol
Marcha (m) - ????
Asalena (f) - ?
Sydnie (f) - don't like the spelling, but it's not a bad name.

WDYT??

Some of those are terrible! There is a great Russian folk tale about a young girl named Dara and her cat. This post reminds me, last week I came across a little girl (just over 2 yrs old) named Atteson pronounced like Addison. idk what some people are thinking.

OOhh noooo Lucresha wants to be Lucretia!!
Which is actually Loo-CREH-tsyah in latin (Lucrezia in italian)

I would like Dara if pronounced DAH-ra, not DARE-ah

They're all pretty atrocious anyway..

The only names I really liked were:
Jaquelia (I also agree, there should be a "c" before the "q".)
Dara (Beautiful name)
Pasqual (Different!)
Asalena (Also different.)

I don't know, the others didn't appeal to me.

I've known two really great girls named Dara and I've grown to like it.
