Feb. 29th, 2008 02:49 amThis popped into my head about a week ago, and it wont go away.. WDYT?
DeLuca for a girl?
I know its a last name, and sounds more boyish.. but for some reason it wont go away, I like the sound of it more and more.

Date: 2008-02-29 11:10 am (UTC)It'an italian last name and it shouts illiterate, if used as a first name, regardless of boy or girl.
It's 100% un-classy, sorry.

Date: 2008-02-29 11:45 am (UTC)It's not in the least feminine sounding.
It has a capital letter in the middle of the name which is beyond trashy.
It would make me wonder what the hell the parents were thinking.

Date: 2008-02-29 03:49 pm (UTC)But shoving that aside...I've always thought Luca was an incredibly feminine boy name, so I can understand the gender switch. I think Deluca looks very pretty, but I don't like the way it sounds aloud.
