This is a question for a story I'm writing.
What name could I use the nickname Janie for besides Jane?

There is always the thought of a name that is nothing like Janie, such as the line in the Beatles song Rocky Raccoon:

Her name was Magil and she called herself Lil
But everyone knew her as Nancy.

Perhaps there could be a side story with the reason for the nickname Janie.
