Of a girl named Jinx?

What would be good middle names?

(Yes, I'm somewhat serious about this.)

i think its cute, though may be more appropriate as a nickname, or pet name. i have a soft spot for certain out there names like this one.

i would pair it with something more traditional as a middle name.

I'd personally only use it as a middle name and give her something else for a first. She is going to be so teased for Jinx. But with a different first name, kids can call her that, and at home you can call her Jinx. Plus, I can't imagine her as an adult working and being like "Hi my name is Jinx" and not getting some odd looks and wonder if she's just kidding them.

I'll forever associate it with this girl...

i like it, but i think jinx would be a better nickname... it's better than rebel at least!

for some reason, the first thing that came to mind was jinx marlene...

It would be cute on a cat. I just can't imagine it on a person.

Then again if I did meet, and regularly associate with a person named Jinx I'd probably get used to it. I thought the name Storm was ridiculous until I had a good friend named this in High School.

Given the meaning of the word I'd consider it unfortunate and (assuming they were in the right age range) I'd assume her parents were Bond fans (or Halle Berry fans).

It's a pretty word, but not a meaning I'd want to saddle a child with.

It's one of those names that I love in sound, then the meaning is pretty unfortunate (like Mallory, for instance).

Spell it Jynx, maybe? at least it's proper, maybe it's less damage lol

Jinx is the proper spelling, actually, and I would never name my child Jinx, mn or fn because of the meaning.

oops is it? I've seen it spelled Jynx forever, so I just assumed.
Sorry OP!!

HAHA! Don't feel bad. I looked it up on dictionary.com because my Mozilla was telling me that Jynx was not the proper spelling. high five!

A pretty word, but it seems kind of mean to name a child that. It sounds like she'd be an accident who ruined the parents' lives or something.

The meaning is horrible.

I knew a couple slutty 14 year girls who gave themselves this nickname.

Not a good name.

I have an adult neighbor named Jinx. I prefer it as a nickname, but I prefer most things as nicknames...

The meaning of Jinx is unfortunate, but I could see it being a cute nickname for something like Jacqueline or Jessica.

Jinx

So what do you like so much about it? How did you discover it as a name you liked and what draws you to it? That might better help us with the idea of it and with good middle name options.
