Okie doke....so out of complete and utter boredom I was flipping through my highschool yearbook from my senior year, and looking at all of the names. There are about a million Alishas, Jessicas, Stephanies, Jennifers, Adams, Joes, and Brians.....but here are some of the ones that stood out (some in a good one, some in a "oh holy jesus what were they thinking" way):

Girls:
Savannah
Cleda
Athena
Velda
Jadrien
Gina
Jillian
Cherolee
Fallon
Emolyn
Rajun
Shea
Tasia
Letisha
Glenna (sister is Hannah)
Kolenya
Kimber
Jacah
Tasheena
Carmen

Boys:
Ruben
Jarai
Skylar
Neftaly
Cataldo
Cleaston
Bentley
Grady
Eldon
Blake
Tre
Kagney
Mason
Glen
Tasaka

The really odd part is that 99.9% of these names belong to the children of very southern and conservative caucasians (there are a couple of children from "hippies" from the local folk school, but not a lot by any means!)....ah well, I guess everyone has to think outside of the box occasionally :D

My BIL is named Skyler, with an E, not an A though.

I know a girl named Fallon and my best friend's sister's name is Glenna, their Dad's name is Glen. Also, for some weird reason, I'm starting to like Kimber and Tamber.

I liked Bentley for a girl but not for a boy.

There's something i absolutely love about Emolyn but i'd probably never use it. I love names that you can do a common nickname for that are interesting (Like...thats not Emily but it could have the nickname Emma or Emmie...)
