(no subject)

Yes or no: Hazel Sophie? And what do you think of the combo as a whole?

but i prefer it flip flopped

me too

I just can't get into Hazel. It has a harsh sound to it that I don't care for.

love!

yes. either that way or flip flopped.

[identity profile] cleddy.livejournal.com 2005-12-29 03:02 am (UTC)(link)
yes! I think it's cute-and i agree with other commenters..it would be cute flip-flopped as well!

Pretty.

Really like both names. Sophie Hazel would be adorable, think it'd flow better that way (bit too choppy otherwise).
Otherwise I'd prefer Hazel as a first name.

I love the names, and I agree that flip-flopped would be super cute!

I like the combo with Hazel as the first name (I personally don't like it flip-flopped as Sophie Hazel), but I prefer it as Hazel Sophia. To me, Hazel Sophie sounds a bit choppy and it needs that extra *a* syllable to make it flow better IMO.

I was coming to post a vote for Hazel Sophia as well!

[identity profile] elemmennope.livejournal.com 2005-12-29 09:11 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, I like that better too. I don't like Sophie Hazel though, as many are suggesting, just because Sophie is so popular.

[identity profile] estrella-jenita.livejournal.com 2005-12-29 08:01 am (UTC)(link)
i agree Sophie Hazel or Hazel Sophia

[identity profile] muliebrity.livejournal.com 2005-12-29 08:09 am (UTC)(link)
No. I don't like Hazel, and Sophie sounds too pretentious to me.

[identity profile] slowwinter.livejournal.com 2005-12-29 09:59 am (UTC)(link)
Personally, I think Hazel Sofia would sound better. But I love both names. =)

I love Sophie, really dislike Hazel. I like Sophie/Sophia Hazel better though.

[identity profile] composure.livejournal.com 2005-12-29 10:36 am (UTC)(link)
I don't like that both names have two syllables. How about Hazel Sophia?

[identity profile] knightanika.livejournal.com 2005-12-29 01:11 pm (UTC)(link)
I dont like it. I really dislike Hazel since the town I live in is Hazel Dell.

[identity profile] pale-september.livejournal.com 2005-12-29 08:27 pm (UTC)(link)
I think it's cute, but I'd go with Hazel Sophia. :)

[identity profile] iwanttobemyself.livejournal.com 2005-12-30 12:22 am (UTC)(link)
no, no, no...unless you want the poor girl to age about 75 years minutes after entering into the world. Sophie is an ok name on its on but Hazel...no way!

[identity profile] ifancylust.livejournal.com 2006-01-04 11:20 pm (UTC)(link)
kind of trendy, but it's okay. i think they might sound better with other names that aren't two syllables also.
