So i'm pregnant. Due in like.. october or something. I'll know more on thursday,
But for names this is what i have:

Girl:
Amber Lynn Dawn
Hayden Amber Lynn

and Boy:
Kaleb James
James Alexander Leigh

The last one with or without the Leigh.

As well, my friend just had a baby girl names Danica Rae. Thoughts?

For your names, I like James Alexander Leigh (because James Alexander is too common) and Amber Dawn, withouth Lynn if that's an option, because the Lynn Dawn or Dawn Lynn combination either way sounds chinese.

I like the combination of Amber Lynn a lot, always have.

All of those are decent names IMO, even though I never considered Hayden on a girl before.
Amber Lynn Dawn doesn't flow too well because of the two one-syllable names. How about Dawn Amber Lynn?
I don't like Kaleb, but that's a matter of personal taste.

Amber Lynn Dawn doesn't flow very well, and sounds dated to me.
Hayden is a male name, and quite trendy at that (all those -aiden/-ayden names are very popular right now!).
Caleb (with the C) James is nice. Kaleb with a K is too trendy for me. The name would be called out more than it would be written, so why not spell it the right way?
I love James Alexander. The Leigh part is feminine to me, but Lee would be ok.

the Hayden thing kills me because that was my grandfather's name (born ca 1910) so it's bullshit that it's so trendy now when, while I was growing up, it wasn't. So now I can't use my friggin gf's name for a boy for this reason!!! grr!!!!

two middle names is just something my mom has always done. I'm Ashley Christina Anne, and my brother is David Andrew Kenneth.

I just like two middle names a lot.


And i'm pretty sure i'm going to go with Hayden Amber Lynn, or James Alexander. i don't know about Lee though. I'm pretty.. iffy on a second middle name and rather stumped too..

James Alexander Leigh is classy; I like it a lot.

As everyone else, though, Amber Lynn Dawn is kind of...well, I think you should give some thought to its connotations and whether or not you're okay with them.

Hayden is okay. It is very popular now but I wouldn't worry about that if you really like the name. I don't like it paired with "Amber Lynn", though.

Danica is pretty; I don't care for Rae but together it flows well.

Caleb James would be great (Kaleb looks trendy and trashy, though), and so is James Alexander (Leigh).

Amber Lynn Dawn IS really trailer-trashy sounding, and whether it's your little sister's name or not, that's the first thing people are going to think when they hear it. It's not an insult to your sister, just pointing out that people ARE going to think that, especially since (a) it's a porn star's name, (b) it sounds like a stripper's name, and (c) it is very very very dated.

Hayden is sooooo trendy, and whether you know two Haydens or not, it IS trendy and it's definitely not a name that your daughter is going to be able to grow up with. You can think it all you want, but the vast majority of people are going to think that (a) she's a boy or that (b) her parents weren't intelligent enough to pick a girl's name for her. It's awful, and I don't think very many people are going to be able to take a 30 or 40 year old woman named 'Hayden' very seriously.
