Feb. 24th, 2008 03:55 pmI was watching BBC World about an hour ago and on came a man whose children were called Madison and Cole.
I though that was alright at first but then he said his son was called Madison and his daughter was Cole.
I love the name Madison and it's alright on a boy but I like it better on girls.
I think Cole on a girl is horrid!
WDYT?

Date: 2008-02-24 03:16 pm (UTC)Cole is too close to 'cold' and I also dislike Col- names, like Colton, for example, they remind of 'colon'.

Date: 2008-02-24 04:06 pm (UTC)Sure, socially Madison is probably worse on a girl nowadays, but considering it means 'son of' and was originally a male name the trend of girls with this name is even more ridiculous.
