I was in town today and met someone i used to go to school with. She now has a baby daughter and her name is Italee. "It's like the country, but we spelt it with the double 'E' to make it different" she said. I just smiled and commented on how cute the baby was.
But wow, now i don't mind some place names, but that's just bad imo.

I met another baby who's name was Tiylor (a girl), pronounced Tyler.

I don't understand people who do this. The child's name will be called out a thousand times more than it will ever be written out. Italee sounds no different from Italy; it just causes more of a headache in the long run.

At least she can go by Lee or maybe Alee. Both names are pretty gross. Do they have any connection to Italy or was it just random?
