Date: 2008-02-23 03:07 am (UTC)I really like Esme. And Nelly spelled as such. And Hero for a boy and Heroe for a girl.
I think Sage is gaining too much popularity.

Date: 2008-02-23 03:31 am (UTC)I love Autumn, Ivy, Meadow, Skye, Quinn, Zoelie, Tenly, and Esme for girls.
I also like Quinn for a boy, and Rowen- but Rowen definitely is a boy name to me.
I love your taste in names, though! Very unique.

Date: 2008-02-23 03:51 am (UTC)Autumn
Ivy
Sage, though it feels somewhat masculine to me
Rowen for a boy
Twilight is pretty, but a bit to extreme for a name IMO.
I really love Esme
Zoelie feels a bit made up to me. Prn like Zoe-Lee [as in the name Zoe with lee on the end] or Zo-lee?

Date: 2008-02-23 03:54 am (UTC)I actually found Zoelie on here on someone else's post and kinda liked it. Some of the best names are made up!

Date: 2008-02-23 04:02 am (UTC)Sage is gaining popularity and that can turn me off to something... but I still kinda like it.

Date: 2008-02-23 04:09 am (UTC)Willabird, that is so cute! And I like that spelling of Jacey.
But Twilight as a name??? maybe a middle name, I don't know, it's my husband's favorite.

Date: 2008-02-23 04:21 am (UTC)The rest run the gamut between made up, overly trendy, and very hippie IMO.

Date: 2008-02-23 04:30 am (UTC)I think Ember and Phoenix might be my favorites. I also really like Esme, though.
Twilight reminds me of a girl I knew named Twila (she'd be nearly 30 now). I have both pleasant and unpleasant memories of her, that are making me iffy on both Twila and Twilight, lol.
I like Aura better as a nickname for Aurora or Aurelia, but it's not too bad on its own--just very unusual and IMO a little spacey-sounding.
Nelly is usually a nickname for Ellen rather than a stand-alone (though it can be either), so instead of using an alternate form, you could name the baby Ellen but call her Nell or Nelly. I also like Eleanor as an alternative form, and it's got plenty of short forms for everyday use.
I like Joy, but you might also consider some things that have similar meanings--Leticia means joy, for instance, and Felicia means happy or fortunate. I believe Risa means laughter.

Date: 2008-02-23 04:39 am (UTC)And the same with Joy, being my middle name I would be naming the baby after me, but not directly.

Date: 2008-02-23 05:31 am (UTC)Skye reminds me too much of Skype.
I'm not big on Choice at all. But I generally hate names like Hope, Faith, etc. Names that are actually words.
