I like Rafael, but I'm still not sure about Mercedes.

Its one of those names where other peoples associations might prevent me from using it(usually they don't bother me).

My daughter is named Isidora.

Raquel and Lourdes aren't on your lists - what about those? I've always loved them.

Isidora is such a pretty name.

I think it depends on how you want to pronounce it. ROSE-AH-LINE

or RAHZ-AH-LYNN


The first pronunciation- the first name is preferable to me.
the second pronunciation- the second name is preferable to me.

the thing with Mercedes is that is sounds so beautiful in French and Spanish, but in English is ick. I also prefer the spanish pronunciation of names like Paula, Claudia, Paul etc

I love the name Mercedes, and Lolita, Isidora (though spelled Isadora), Regina and Rosario (I have a friend named Rosario! Yay!)

For boys I like Joaquin, Adan, Marcelo, Pascual (Though spelled Pascal!), Raul and Santos. :)
