Is it just me or has anyone else have gotten nice names from video games or cartoons?

Here is a short list of names I like:

Remy (Gambit on X-Men)
Jean (Jean Grey of X-Men)
Jubilee (Jubilation Lee of X-Men)
Rogue (of X-Men)
Xavier (X-Men, again)
Storm (X-Men)
Mystique (X-Men)
Jin (Tekken, a video game)
Jun (Jin's mother, Tekken)

Jean and Storm are the only names I like from this list, and Storm would have to be used on the right person and in the right way and probably only as a middle name. Jin would be ok if you're from that culture.
But definitely not Mystique. Bad spelling and it sounds like a porn star.

Remy - OK, this is actually a real name (French? I knew a Belgian guy named that - he wore it well)

Jean - same

Jubilee - Not a name. A religious calendrical term. Definitions:
1) a year of emancipation and restoration provided by ancient Hebrew law to be kept every 50 years by the emancipation of Hebrew slaves, restoration of alienated lands to their former owners, and omission of all cultivation of the land

Rogue - Not a name, and a very, very unpleasant thing to be called.
1 : VAGRANT, TRAMP
2 : a dishonest or worthless person : SCOUNDREL
3 : a mischievous person : SCAMP
4 : a horse inclined to shirk or misbehave
5 : an individual exhibiting a chance and usually inferior biological variation

(Hahaha. I like the last definition.)

Xavier - Good. I like.

Storm - to me, this is a good name for a horse, not a person.

Mystique - Performing nightly at the Gentleman's club - half price lap dances before 6 pm...

Jin and Jun - These sound like Asian (Chinese? Korean?) names, which would be great if you are from that culture. Otherwise... no.

Jubilee - Just don't do it.
Rogue: A) This is a terrible name just based on meaning B) People will misspell it as rogue her entire life
Xavier - That's a real name but quite popular. Go ahead though.
Storm: That's a horses name, not a human.
Mystique: Definitely a stereotypical sex worker name. And there's absolutely nothing wrong with sex workers, don't get me wrong, but do you really want your 3 year old to sound like she is one.
Jin: Too close to Gin.
Jun: Oh come on.

Sorry for responding to an old post like this, but "Jin" is a Japanese name, and pronounced more like "Jeen". Basically the same as "Jean" above. Just thought I'd point that out.
