I've seen the name "Esme" on a couple of people's lists, and many others have proclaimed mad passionate love for this name... But I can't seem to figure out how it is pronounced.

Enlighten me?

[EDIT]: Thanks for all the responses! I don't think it's going to make my name list, but at least I'll know how to pronounce it when I see it now, instead of a little mental "blip" I use when I recognize a word/name but don't know the pronunciation...

It's definitely EZ-MAY. Michael J. Fox has a daughter with that name. I don't care for it...there are too many other E names that are much prettier in my opinion.
