[identity profile] omfg----hxc.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] babynames
Okay I posted a few months back that a girl I went to school with was going to name her baby Khloe Ryann or Braden James.

Well she knows it's a girl and has now changed to:

Kourtney Alyssa.

I don't really know the obsession with K's but at least the middle name is spelled correctly.

Also, in honor of my song what do you think about the name Hattie?

How bout Hallie?
I always loved Hallie when I was little because of the Parent Trap and I still kind of like it...

yeah she hated it growing up in the 80's and 90's (she's 30) in the middle of all of the Jessica's and Michelle's and Tiffany's.. but she likes it now

Oh god, Courtney is bad enough but Kourtney is just terrible. At least it isn't Kourttnyee or something. Ick. But I am SO glad it isn't Khloe! Something just looks wrong when Chloe is spelled with a "k".

yeah, Chloe should definitely not be spelled with a K.

I'm not a fan of Hattie. Hallie is cute, though.

For some reason, I feel like Hattie is a slave name. :\ So no, I dislike Hattie a great deal.

Because of "Gone With the Wind," maybe? The actress who played Mammy was Hattie McDaniel.

Yesterday I was entertaining myself with coming up with a name for each gender for each letter of the alphabet, and I realized that there is no K name that I like. Well, maybe except for Kate.
Khloe looks ridiculous.
I don't like Hattie either. And with Hallie I never know whether it's supposed to be pronounced like Hell-ee or like Hay-lee. I suppose like Hell-ee. But I've been wrong before.

She's obviously a fan of "Keep Up With the Kardashians"... Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, Kendall, & Kylie I think their names are?

I prefer Hailey or Hayley.

I've always preferred Halley, like the comet. It's cute, though young-sounding.

Courtney Alyssa would be so fine!
Although I like Alyssa a lot better!!

Hattie is kind of a tongue roll to me, but maybe that's just me.

Hallie makes me want to read it as Hailie (which I really like), but I'll admit that both make me squint hard to get it right.

Sounds like the Kardashians... Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, Kendall, and Kylie... then the random Robert for the only boy.

I'd love Courtney Alyssa, but the K just kills me, which is strange because I like a lot of names in which a K replaces a C (Kacey and my own name Karlie are two I can think of now).

I kind of like Hattie. I vaguely remember reading a book about a girl named Hattie in like 2nd grade.

I love Hallie. I like Hayley better, though.

Me either. I actually know alot of Courtney's with a K.
I don't like Hattie, but I do like Haylee.
