We know a couple naming their daughter Sailor Grace Anderson.

I sort of like it. The combo, but maybe not Sailor on it's own.
WDYT?

I like the sound of it, and it flows well, but I'm not really a fan of 'sailor' in general.

Ugh. What do "sailors" and "grace" have in common? Totally random name imo.

Plus any middle name following Sailor, on a girl, will always sound like Sailor Moon and her friends.

I totally agree.

Sailor makes me think 'letchy and promiscuous man with tattoos'
Grace is the boring-i-can't-think-of-another-middle-so-i'll-go-with-Grace-because-it-goes-with-everything-name.

I sort of hope she joins the Navy someday, because otherwise it makes no real sense.

Sailor is at best a little twee and at worst, completely ridiculous. I can't imagine filling out an application for an important job, for example, with the name Sailor. It is passable cute on a baby or child, silly as heck on a woman trying to be taken seriously.

I hate the ubiquitous Grace. So sick of it.

i dont mind it. i like that theyre giving her a normal middle name so when she is older she can almost certainly start going by that.

I hate the name Sailor so much, and all those names like it - Piper, Poet, etc. I don't get the appeal at all. They sound at best absurd, at worst like someone's desperately trying to sound off-beat. Ridiculous.

I'm not a big fan of Sailor, but it does sound good together.

Sea & Water Imagery Names

It's a good paper name, but not in real life.

If you love the sea or want to convey water imagery, there are hundreds of great ways to do so. I'd be interested in someone making a list, in fact.
