I like it, but I had a friend named Joaquin who hated it, which colors my opinion a bit. He changed his name to his middle name: Antonio.

I like it. I read a book with that name before I knew the actor so I pronounced it all wrong. But I like it and don't always associate it with him.

Its one of the few Spanish/Portuguese names I like and I'd really want to honor my dads latino side of the family. Plus I think it goes with my fav boy name Jullian.

So strange, I met someone called Joachim the other day. That's the English version of Joakim. I consider myself to be a bit of a name nerd and was most shocked at never having come across it before...

Embarrassingly, I pronounced this name wrong for years as Jonah-quinn. I knew of the actor, but never put the two together. I personally don't like it that much, but it is unusual without being too "out there". Overall I think names like that are great to use, even if I am not particularly fond of them.

for the longest time i never knew how the hell to pronounce it. i think it just works for the actor. i couldn't see it on anybody else
