I really like the nickname Whit for a boy but I can't find a full name that I like for it.  Whitley to me sounds too feminine, so I thought about Whitman, but I'm sure there'd be a lot of associations with that name.  Can you think of any full names that would work?

I don't really have any help, but my maiden name is Whitaker. My great-grandpa Henry and my great-uncle Clarence both went by Whit. Also, my best friend is a Whitaker, and his dad goes by Whit. He swears that one of these days he'll live up to the nickname and start using it exclusively, too. So, because of all that, I thought it would be an amazing idea to name our (possible-still don't know the sex) son Whit to carry on that tradition. Not short for anything, just Whit. My husband nixed the idea, though.
