Feb. 19th, 2008 02:50 amOK, I know this is probably a long shot, but I figured if anyone would know the answer to this question, it would be someone from this community.
Is there a babynames site somewhere online where you can search for names according to the meaning you want? A friend of mine and her husband are expecting their first baby after eight years of trying. They want to give the baby a name that reflects the triumph and jpy they feel at finally being parents, and want to find a name that reflects that. The only name they've been able to find so far that fits their criteria is Maureen -- which apparently means "longed-for child", but they aren't really all that jazzed about the name itself. And they can't find anything for a boy.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!
