What are your views on giving children two middle names (three names + Last name)?

I don't think it's a bad idea. In my case, I might end up doing it when I have kids, because I'm big into the idea of giving names to honor other people... so my first daughter will have my mother's name as her middle name, and depending on the situation and stuff, possibly like her father's mother's name as a second middle name or somethng.

yeah, I'm dong that too, but I will probably run out of people to honor with the number of kids I plan on having. especially since some people in our famiilies have the same name (like both our dads are named Thomas, so one kid with the middle name Thomas and we've got both grampas down.)

to the OP: I really don't like the idea. it's pretty much a waste of names since most people don't use their middle name much anyway.

unless you give your kid a really crappy first name, then when they grow up to hate it, they have two choices of other names to be called.
