I work in an accounting office and at this time of year I put together a lot of tax returns. I always look at the names to see if there are any interesting ones.

Today I saw:

J'Jean. Yeah. I thought it was a typo at first....how would you pronounce that? like "Jay-Jean?" or "Jah-Jean?" luckily  her daughter had a normal name- Brianna.

Hudson- not TOO bad, but not my style.

The other day I saw someone's daughter was named Angelia. Not Angela or Angelina, but Angelia.

J'Jean is just weird to me. Hudson is an interesting division from the rest of the -n sound craze right now. Not sure how to pronounce Angelia? Sounds like jelly on the end when I say it. Kind of off-putting. Maybe it was a misspell of Angelica/Angelina?

My cousin's wife's name is Angelia. It's pronounced just like Angela. I asked her why it was spelled that way and she said her mom didn't know how to spell Angela? I don't really understand.

J'Jean reminds me of cha-ching.

In college, I knew an Angelia who pronounced it Ann-je-LEE-uh.

.. Wow.

I love the name Hudson, but I probably wouldn't use it.

There was a popular song in the late 80s (or early 90s maybe) called Angelia, by Richard Marx.
