Came across a set of 17 year old twins today - Tyrone and Tyrunn. I also work with a set named Kalvin and Kelvin (and they have the same middle name). I also know twins Jason and Mason & Issac and Isasiah.

Others that I've come across today- Derrick and Erick, Andres and Armando, Sean and Shane, Bre'Shyia and Bre'Shonaca, Jarvis and Jarvonna, Tiana and Tony, Sheniqua and Shawn, Clintell and Quintell, Tonya and LaTonya, Wesley and Warren, Danion and Damion, Sherry and Jerry, Maria and Dulce, Cleonte and Deonte, Shatarius and Darius, Thomas and Taylor, Frederick and Freddie, Roshunda and Roshun, Keith and Kevin, Maria Jose and Maria Yesni, Hailey and Heather, Michael and Michelle, Jarrett and Jessica, Dora and Nora, Deshunte and Deandre, Able and Robel, Marvin and Marcus, Billy and Willie, Clinton and Quinton, Tyrell and Darnell, Anthony and Antwone, and Demond and Lemond.

I know from previous posts most list members do not like matchy names for twins. BUT, if you HAD to pick matchy names for your brand new set of identical twins, what would they be?

*Edit* any kind of twins will do:) I came across a lot of fraternal twin matchy sets too.

Not exactly 'matching' names, but... Andrij and Aleksej.

Emily and Evelyn. Or Elsa. Can I get triplets? XD

For boys, hrmmm... Craig and Greg would be funny, since my dad's name is Craig, but with a slip of the tongue, I've used Greg for his name before.

Eleanor and Elizabeth.

I'm using Eleanor for one of my triplets. =]

The most matchy twin set I know is 19 year old boys named Ashton and Avery. All the other twins that I can think of that I know have none matching names. Surprising.

I knew a Kevin and Kelvin set when I was growing up. Surprisingly, it wasn't that confusing to their friends.

I think my matchy twins would be Faith and Hope or Grace and Hope.

I'd actually probably pick Isaac and Isaiah. I actually like those names together. I also actually like Luke and Liam, Andrew and Abigail, Kieran and Corran, and Maxwell and Matthew.

If I had to use matchy names, I would use Kaelyn and Braelyn.

I've always liked Delia & Damien.

I had a class in college with twin girls named Natasha and Latasha. And a coworker told me about twin infants she knew named Mah'prince and Yah'highness. Which is matchy and...ridiculous.

I know of twins named Emily and Elizabeth, because of Emily Elizabeth on Clifford. which I think is pretty cute.

I also know of a Renee and Geray and a Beryl and Sheryl.

If I had to have matching names, I might do Jonathan and David (from the Bible) or Rose and Violet.
If they had to have the same first letter, for girls I might do Ruby and Rose. For boys, maybe Charlie and Cullen.

Ew. All of those except for Wesley and Warren and Hailey and Heather made me want to vomit.

My dad and his twin sister are Mark and Marjorie. The full effect of the names' matchy-ness didn't hit me until recently, and I started feeling really badly for them.

Boy/Boy - Lachlan (or maybe Liam) and Luke
Boy/Girl - Luke and Lola
Girl/Girl - Elizabeth and Emily (or maybe Evie)

Carnelle like carnal?! That's just wrong, before you even get to the rhyming twin's name.

Neither pair was twins, but I've known a Devin and Devon and Sean and Shane. In both cases the dad remarried and named his second round of kids with basically the same name as his first. Stupid and sad.

I'm not sure Juvi is the best example, but it explains some of those names. I couldn't figure out where you'd met all those twins either.

I wonder how you pronounce the names Demond and Lemond. Like Dee- and Lee-? Just sounds a little too close to Demon and Lemon.

Matchy matchy? Lame, but I like Lily and Rose as an idea. Maybe color or desert names like Sage and Sienna could be nice too. I second the Luke/Liam pairing above.
