I remember when a dr i visited while pregnant asked me what I planned on naming my kid, I said:
"well, i'm set on serenity cadence but now that i've been telling people some think it's awful and that i'm setting her up for a miserable childhood" (harsh.)

She replied with,
"Oh no, that's lovely, I named my first daughter Serene Sky. She's 34 and she loves her name, she told me she thinks it's quite fun".

For a moment i thought the dr sounded cooky and then i began imagining people would think i was cooky.

After i settled on the name, i started hearing what other expecting picked out and liked them better:

Donavon Sky
Scarlett Rose
Luna Belle
Aja

The boy name I picked out was:
Devdon Howard Lee... however I think after realizing the "on/en/an" trend it would have changed.

I like Luna Belle. The kre8'typh person in me wants to make up Lunabelle.

Aja sounds pretty but looks too much like Ajax, to me.

I know two Ajas.

One pronounces it like "Raja"

The other like "Asia."

Sorry... but personally I'm so over Scarlett Rose. I feel like I know/have heard of so many people who have at some time in their life had the epiphany of Scarlett Rose, and then grew out of it. I like Luna Belle though.

Donavon looks downright mispelled, it should be Donovan.
Scarlett Rose has been overused to abused in the last 5 years.
Luna Belle is not bad, but it sounds a bit like a lady's beauty product/device. I would suggest Luna Isabel :)
Aja is hmmpf.. I think Ajay is indian, but I believe it's a boy's name?

Devdon sounds like a speech impediment.. How about Devon? I personally love it!

I don't think Serenity Sky is that bad. I'm just not a fan of the name Serenity, but that's a matter of personal taste.

I see no problem with Serenity. How about Serena, if you choose not to go with Serenity?

I like Serenity, though - you could call her Sera or Ren for short, among other things.
