Place names?

What do you guys think about state/place names?
Girls: Kansas, Brooklyn, Dakota, Sahara, Verona.
Boys: Phoenix, Orlando, Jackson, Dallas.

I'm not pregnant, it's just speculation. Please be mature, kthanks.

Kansas - Ick
Brooklyn - Reminds me of Brook, which makes it not so bad
Dakota - Eh, ok. I don't think of the place though, I think of the actress.
Sahara - Oh no. I really really like Zahara though.
Verona - Makes me think of Shakespeare, I'm pretty indifferent towards it.

Phoenix - I think of the bird, not the place. Plus it sounds nice.
Orlando - Just makes me think of Orlando Bloom. Wouldn't sound right on anyone else.
Jackson - I didn't even know this was a place, I just thought it was a cool sounding name. I don't live in the US.
Dallas - I'm ok with it because I knew a girl called this when I was little, so I knew it as a name before I knew it was a place.

Most place names I can take or leave, but I really love London. If I actually lived in England I'd probably think it was weird, but seeing as I don't and I'm an anglophile I think it's great.
