Place names?

What do you guys think about state/place names?
Girls: Kansas, Brooklyn, Dakota, Sahara, Verona.
Boys: Phoenix, Orlando, Jackson, Dallas.

I'm not pregnant, it's just speculation. Please be mature, kthanks.

Most places are generally named after people in the first place. I'm from Australia and my daughters name is Montana. Not because it's a place but because it's my Boyfriends mothers maiden name and also his second middle name.
