I know that some of these are a little out-there, but I've tried to combine some of the crazier ones with a more conventional/classical one, or use them as middle names.

Ursula Imogen -- This isn't so bad. Ursula reminds me of the evil sea witch in The Little Mermaid and Phoebe's mean twin sister on Friends.
Vada Schuyler -- I like Vada. It reminds me of the girl in My Girl. I love Schuyler on boys.

No way, most of these are awesome! They're all real names, they're just not necessarily common. Also, Sappho!

I like Evanna Claire, Elisabeth Imogen, Margot Elisabeth, and Stella Margot the best for girls' list. I like Alexander Blaise, James Evander, Felix Caspian, and James Alaric the best for the boys' list.

My two favourites are Margot Elisabeth and James Evander. I love James Evander!

Nimue is like NIM-oo-ay, Sappho is like SAFF-o, and as for Niels, I say it Niles but I may be wrong. Lol, I never noticed that, "fill up eclair." heh.

I like Stella, Claire, and Elisabeth as first names. Margot and Imogen are both okay, but I really dislike the latter and Margot always makes me think 'Maggots' I like it better spelled without the t (Margo). The one name I'd really suggest staying away from is Sappho; Sapphic and words similar are often used within the lesbian community as, like... well, I'm not really sure how to describe it, but it's associated with girl on girl action. As a lesbian, I am all for that, but you daughter, who has a very good chance of being straight, might not like having to tell people, "Yeah, my middle name is Sappho."

For boys, I like Niels, Elliot, Simon, James, Alaric, Alexander, Felix, and Caspian. I do like Ariel on boys, but it's so popular on girls that I'd avoid it if I were you. The only ones I really don't like are Chandler, Nicoedemus, and Blaise. I also have issues with the name Evander because it looks like someone combined Evan & Alexander and the result is just...blah. But it's not horrible as a middle name.
