I just saw this name in the newspaper. One year old girl named Alivya. I like the name Olivia. I'm kind of meh on the name Alivia, but spelled Alivya? Just...no.

Edit: Oh, and it gets worse. I hadn't made it to the first birthdays section, yet. Among the four children celebrating first birthdays are

Masen Allen *lastname*

Twins: Jahneesa Louise and John Lewis *lastname*....children of Jennifer and Jay.

Alivya. It's pretty-looking but with that name I agree, the traditional "Olivia" spelling is the best. "Olyvia" might be an okay variation.

Jahneesa... A little too unique for my taste. I get that they were trying to feminize "John" but they could have just done... Idk... Jo[h]anna?

People should let me name their children. That would be a great career choice for me.

I like the name Olivia. Although, I would prefer Alivya to Olivya when it comes to spelling. I think the "y" looks more in place when it's spelled with an "A" to begin with. But Olivia is still my preference overall.

I do not like Jahneesa Louise. I don't much like Masen Allen, either.

John Lewis isn't bad, IMO.
