5 month old boy/girl twins: Mika (said like Micah) and Makyla (said: ma-KYE-la).

makyla? really? "mak-ee-lah" is what that says. i'm assuming they were going for makayla or however people spell it these days? that's like when i met a baby named mehgan. um no.

thumbs down on both. micah is a fine name, but having it spelled mika just says "mee-kah" to me. and the only mika in my heart is the one who pronounces it like it looks and sings upbeat songs about fat girls and movie legends.

I hate "matching" names for twins.

Mika looks really feminine to me. I like the name Micah, though. Not a fan of Makyla or Michaela.
Makyla sounds kind of like Michaela with an Australian accent, if you say it out loud.
