my picks.

My husband and I cannot agree on any names. I am 12 weeks and I know I've got a ton of time to pick a name. But, what I'm thinking is.... why not agree on a list of names, then when s/he is born, then pick out of the list?

The only name we have solidly agreed on so far is Azalea. It's a flower, and I think it's pretty, and unique.

My other picks are:

Audriana/Adriana (after his mom)
Stella
Erin
(I can't seem to find the rest of my list, I will post that later)

and for a boy, I picked:
Jason

that's it. Majority of them are female names, because I am convinced (yes at 12 weeks) that I am having a girl. But, we'll see. :)

First off, congratulations! Azalea is a lovely name. It's pretty and unique without being "weird". I also really like Stella and Erin. I'm not so fond of Jason; it's rather boring, IMHO. I'd be interested in seeing a longer list when you find it. :)

There's a lot to be said for mother's intuition! It's nice that you and your husband already have a name(s) you can agree on. That makes things a lot easier! :)

This is what I will do with all of my kids. I'll think about names I like the whole, but I won't actually choose one until after I've really met the baby and see if it 'fits'. =)

I've been convinced I'm having a boy since I saw two pink lines. But we're not finding out and everyone else seems to think it'll be a girl, so I figured I'd better pick some girl names, too.

I love Stella, and quite like the rest of your picks.

We're using your wait-and-see-but-have-a-list method, but it took me until 22 weeks to get him to put some effort into making a list. Then we traded lists, exercised veto-power, and compiled an "agreed upon" list. I feel more comfortable now, knowing we have something to go on, and he feels better knowing that he's vetoed Tallulah but can still add names if he thinks of a good one. It just took some (gentle) nagging to get it done.

Despite its prominence in my username, I dislike the name Azalea.

I, however, love Adriana, Erin, and Jason.

My boy and I can't agree on girl names. I'm having a boy, but want a girl back up name just in case. I make huge lists of girl names and tell him to cross off the ones he hates (which is 99% of them.)

I like Stella Erin and Jason

Love Jason and Stella lots!!!

Azalea isn't bad, but I live in the "AZALEA CITY", so therefore it's just too much for me. She'd get some grief if she ever lived in Mobile, Alabama.

if you are convinced you are having a girl you very well may be. a lot can be said for a mother's intuition.
i had a reacurring dream about me having a baby daughter, a few times in one week. i wasn't late for my period yet but i felt compelled to take a test because of how intense my dream was and i was in fact pregnant. i bought girl's things the whole time i was pregnant and told everyone i was having a girl-i just knew.
my daughter will be two at the end of the month :)
this time, i've been feeling that i'm having a boy and i'm also 12 weeks. i have had two baby dreams so far and had a son in each of them.
