My husband and I cannot agree on any names. I am 12 weeks and I know I've got a ton of time to pick a name. But, what I'm thinking is.... why not agree on a list of names, then when s/he is born, then pick out of the list?
The only name we have solidly agreed on so far is Azalea. It's a flower, and I think it's pretty, and unique.
My other picks are:
Audriana/Adriana (after his mom)
Stella
Erin
(I can't seem to find the rest of my list, I will post that later)
and for a boy, I picked:
Jason
that's it. Majority of them are female names, because I am convinced (yes at 12 weeks) that I am having a girl. But, we'll see. :)

Date: 2008-02-11 01:10 pm (UTC)Yeah, I thought I had it here when I started posting. I have a bunch of names so I'll find at least one list or make another one:)
Jason is kind of boring, I agree. I have never sat down and thought of any boys names, because I just don't have that "feeling" that it's a boy? I've always liked the name Jason though.
I'm pretty intuitive, and a friend of my step mother mentioned I was having a girl before I even shared to her I was pregnant, she GUESSED! So, I am hoping that all my girl names would be looked over. ;)

Date: 2008-02-11 02:11 pm (UTC)I love Stella, and quite like the rest of your picks.
We're using your wait-and-see-but-have-a-list method, but it took me until 22 weeks to get him to put some effort into making a list. Then we traded lists, exercised veto-power, and compiled an "agreed upon" list. I feel more comfortable now, knowing we have something to go on, and he feels better knowing that he's vetoed Tallulah but can still add names if he thinks of a good one. It just took some (gentle) nagging to get it done.

Date: 2008-02-11 11:55 pm (UTC)Azalea isn't bad, but I live in the "AZALEA CITY", so therefore it's just too much for me. She'd get some grief if she ever lived in Mobile, Alabama.

Date: 2008-02-12 04:42 pm (UTC)i had a reacurring dream about me having a baby daughter, a few times in one week. i wasn't late for my period yet but i felt compelled to take a test because of how intense my dream was and i was in fact pregnant. i bought girl's things the whole time i was pregnant and told everyone i was having a girl-i just knew.
my daughter will be two at the end of the month :)
this time, i've been feeling that i'm having a boy and i'm also 12 weeks. i have had two baby dreams so far and had a son in each of them.
