Which middle name goes best?
(I am asking for opinions on the MIDDLE NAME, and what goes best with the first. I am aware not everyone will like our choice of first name. That part is not up for negotiation, only the middle name. Thanks.)

I love Roman, but my daughter's name is Juliet... too close to Romeo for comfort.

I like Roman Lucas and Roman David.

Roman Patrick has a nice sort of flow to it. So does Roman Lucas. I'm not too fond of the others.

I like Roman Lucas. And I asked my mother, since she was passing by, and she likes Lucas as well.

I had a neighbor named Roman so many years back, and I always adored his name.
In fact, it was on my baby names lists for Delanie. But of course, it was booted when we found out we were having a girl.
No females named Roman are going to be in my family.

Oooh! So now I know what the boys name you've decided on is! Don't worry, I won't tell anyone (not that I have anyone to tell anyway!). I think Roman Patrick goes really well, but Lucas and Jacob are great names too (both on my list). Roman David is also nice, and I guess it would be nice to name the baby after his father, but at the same time it would also be good for the baby to have it's own name. What is Dave's middle name? I have the same middle name as my mum, and my dad and my brother also have the same middle name which i've always thought is a nice link. But then again originality is also good.

I guess you do know! A few more weeks until we know for sure if baby will be Roman or a girl. Anyway, Dave actually doesn't have a middle name. Patrick is his dad's middle name. I think we've settled on Roman Patrick!

Haha well I suppose since you already know the boy's name telling you the girl's won't hurt (man, I am soooo bad at this "not telling people" game- and it was MY idea! Dave hasn't told anyone!). A girl will be Piper, but we're not settled on the middle name yet. I was thinking Dawn, after my dad (Don). It's also my middle name :)

Haha, I know that if it was me I would be exactly the same - want to keep it a secret but not be able to! Piper is really cute, and I am really into the idea of my daughter having my middle name, so I think that Dawn is a really great idea :) I hope you have better luck not telling other people :p
