[identity profile] sloane-hd.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] babynames

I was in the library about an hour ago and I met a set of identical twins named Kyra and Tyra.
And guess what, they have a big brother Tyrone.
I think this sibset it just horrendous.

WDYT?

not bad enough, Tyra sounds like she was named after tires.
And "Are you tired, Tyra?" tararararara.

Tyr-one, meaning tire #1.

They're currently planning #4, so they can actually use the sibset to travel on.

Oh boy.
Was Kyra also pronounced like Tyra, or more like Kir-ah?
Rhyming names are so bad.

I love the parents' effort to rhyme their children's names. Even though it's a little too much.

Kyra and Tyrone would've been fine. Kyra and Tyra would've been a little much, but not terrible. But the three together, particularly Tyra with Tyrone, is awful. There are other names with long I sounds that wouldn't have been so exactly matchy.
