New to the Community

Hello everyone! I just discovered this group a couple days ago. I've always loved finding names that I liked and making name combos for future kids.

I noticed a few times people in the community have said they would not consider a "top ten" name.

I am curious to know what everyone would individually consider to be the top ten girl's names and the top ten boy's names.

And here's a twist, what would you consider to be the top ten girl's/boy's names from about 5 decades ago?

This is generally what we talk about: http://www.ssa.gov/OACT/babynames/

"Top ten" is pretty literal. You can look up any year in the last century and a half there.
