My great grandma is in the hospital right now and it doesn't look like she is going to live much longer.  I'd like to honor her some how but I don't really like her first name, I do love her middle name though but it is very popular.  Her name is Virginia Elizabeth and I do know her neighbors call her Ginny.  Do you think there are any names that could come from her name?  I already have one girl named chosen Aurelia Josephine, so I guess I could use help on the second daughter.  Names I like are Violet, Ada, Leila, Lena and Louisa.  I think Violet Virginia might be too many V's.

Speaking of my grandparents names, my great great grandma (who died in 2004 at age 106 and Virginia's mother) was named Alvina and her husband, my great great grandpa (who I never met) was named Henery.  Virginia's children's names are Donald, Jean and Janice.  Jean is my grandma.

Just use Elizabeth for a middle name. It might not be very exciting, but it's a decent honor-worth middle.

Aurelia Josephine Elizabeth also sounds good.

Um also.. it's a bit strange that you're thinking of this now!

I love Virginia. Violet Virginia is a bit much, though... Leila Virginia is a nice idea.

Whoa, longevity! I never met any of my great grandparents, let alone great-great!

Anyway, how about turning Ginny into a similar sounding name, like Genevieve or Guinevere. I think Violet Genevieve sounds really nice.

I strongly recommend Virginia as a first name. I've got a friend named Virginia and she sometimes goes by the nickname of Geana (pronounced Gina).
