I definitely like Robert but not the nickname Bob.
I might use Nesta. I can't get a definite meaning but I think it's really nice-sounding

ooh, second thought: I think I recall Nestore as one of those veeeery old-fashioned, extremely rare names that you see on grannies.. like Archibald, for example.
Maybe Nestor is the english version and Nesta is the jamaican version of that?

The only meaning I found was that it stemmed from a nickname for Agnes...but I don't think that's the Jamaican meaning.
