I know an Alycia which is the most extreme I've ever seen it spelt.

Yours are pretty crazy though.

if I were an A Lee See Ya, I would be annoyed if people slurred the "See Ya" to "shu"

Kind of like how I knew 3 Evas and one was an Ee-vah, one was an eh-vah and one was an ay-vah.

I only like the spelling Alicia, and I like it pronounced A - lee - see - uh. I also like A - lee - sha but not as much, and I dislike A - lish - uh.

I knew two Alicias (A - lee - sha) and people had a lot of trouble pronouncing it.

I know a few people with the names Alicia. (pronounced A-leesh-a)
I know an Alicia pronounced A-lish-a. Her nicknames are LISH or LISHA.
I know an Elisha pronounced Eh-leesh-a, too.

I really don't like Allysia. I want to pronounce it A-lee-see-uh. Hmph.
The others... eh. Not my cup of tea. But I really don't like the name Alicia, anyways. haha.

I've known MANY Alicias and they've all pronounced their names "ah-leesh-ah."

I also know an Elisha, "ah-leesh-ah."

Interesting, I've always heard Elisha as "Ee-lee-sha"

I agree, Alicia is much better.

The last one makes me hit my head - Elisha (eh-lie-sha) is a hebrew *boys* name, a biblical male name of a prophet, but I guess because it ends in an 'a' it's become a girls name *sigh* /rant

That was going to be my comment. I prefer Alicia, but the only spelling I really detest is Elisha, because it is a different name already.
