Do you mean 'different' as in various or 'different' as in unusual? I think they are all really, really bad. I'm sorry if this is your name list! Got the impression it wasn't.
Just experimenting people on here have told me a couple times things about only using culture specific names if they are from your heritage. So I'm Puerto Rican and well theres been a bit of dispute over where my moms Caucasian side of the family is from. SO I tried to mix names like PALOMA and MAEGAN but I could tell it wasn't working right. I just don't usually like many Spanish/Portuguese names.
Ah, okay. I guess something I didn't like was the stark use of 'boy' names for girls and 'girl' names for boys. And many of them were just names I didn't care for.
Eh, I don't think it's the worst thing in the world to use a name not from your culture. And just because you can doesn't mean you have to. ;) I personally know a Paloma Cassandra who is not of Hispanic decent. I also *love* the name Eulalia, but will probably not use it because it's so unusual and has a horrible English pronunciation.
same names on here are really weird.. although Spencer on a girl is not as bad as Codie Lizzette, which sounds like a stripper from the 40's-meet-80's.
Mannuela is mispelled, it's either Manuela, Emanuela, Emanuelle, Emmanuelle. Paloma Meagan is quite mismatched.
The one I really like is Nila Irene!
But Paige on a boy is kinda bad. Tiago Ezequiel is rather interesting!
I love Micah Lawrence, but the rest of these are horrendous. Spencer and Cody are boy's names (no matter how Cody is spelled), and Paloma and Nila are awful. Manuela wouldn't be bad if it was spelled correctly. That spelling of Sydney is the feminine - Sidney is masculine - and Paige and Price are awful names, on either gender, but Paige is even worse on a boy than a girl. Tiago Ezequiel is ridiculous. Ezekiel would be okay, but this totally looks made up.
I totally agree with th3_unicorn that Codie Lizzette looks like a 70s stripper name.

Like I said above, ^^ I was trying to mix two cultures because I'm Puerto Rican/Caucasian.
Me too!
I only put page because I thought it was weird on a boy and wondered what everyone thought.
and I really like Tiago, not sure about Ezequiel.

I didn't know that about Sidney and I copied Ezequiel from the website I used.
I just wondered what people thought about Paige and Price.
But I really like Tiago.

Date: 2008-02-02 08:36 pm (UTC)why I don't like Nila
Date: 2008-02-02 09:33 pm (UTC)I don't like Nila because it looks/sounds like a nickname and it reminds me of Nilla Wafers.
