[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/roxy-girl-/ posting in [community profile] babynames
I'm not even close to having children but I thought I'd post my favourite names. I've been obsessed with baby names for as log as I can remember, I've been writing down names I love in an exercise book since I was in primary school. : )

Some might be a bit out there, but I like classic names with a twist.

Girls:
Charlotte Innes
Grace Angelica Celeste
Cassidy Seraphim

Boys:
Christian Noah
Elijah Joseph Joshua
Luca Christopher

WDYT?

EDIT: I'd like to say thanks to everyone for their advice and suggestions. I didn't intentionally set out to use religious names, but I guess they've ended up being the ones I like... I almost certainly won't be having six children though, so it hopefully won't be a noticeable/overpowering theme in reality. : )

Innes is the name of a national park near where I live and so that's the spelling I am used to, but I'll definitely look into the correct spelling if I ever do end up using it.

Thanks again : )

Okay, taken on their own they are all very nice names, but I don't like how some of them have themes-- Grace Angelica Celeste, Elijah Joseph Joshua, and Christian Noah. I love Biblical names, but this is overkill (and yes, not all of these are Biblical, but you know what I mean).

I especially like Charlotte Ines (1 n). Grace and Christophe are both middle names we've considered. :)

I think Seraph might work better than Seraphim, both for flow and meaning. I like your names in general, though. Not sure about Joseph and Joshua right together like that; Elijah Joseph Joshua sounds more like a list than a cohesive name for some reason, where Elijah Joseph sounds perfectly complete, IMO.

I love Charlotte Innes, and Grace (not Angelica or Celeste though).
I also love Elijah Joseph (Minus Joshua)and Luca Christopher.

I hate the name Christian for no real reason. It was one of those names I couldn't decide if I liked or not, then my s/o's aunt found out she was pregnant and chose Christian and I realized I hated it. Noah is ok, but it's becoming overdone.

Love your boys names:) For girls, I like Charlotte Innes, and Grace Angelica Celeste, but I hate Cassidy, it's a boy's name originally, and it doesn't fit, at all, with your other names.

I like your boys names!!
Christian Noah is especially cool!

I'm not too big on your girls' names, Innes brings out my spelling pet-peeves.. it should be Ines or Inez, unless it's a different name you're thinking of.
Also Seraphim looks crooked to me (and masculine, actually).
I'd go for Seraphine.

Grace Angelica Celeste is a bit of an overdose of "catholic/heavenly".

Seraphim is the plural form of Seraph, so... unless you're implying your child is not only an angel but MORE than one angel... I'd go with Seraph instead.
