What do ya'll think of the name Clara Ruth? I love the name clara and Ruth was m granny's name. DOes it sound too much like an old lady instead of a little girl. I am not pregant but i am just fascinated with names

I really like it. But Ruth is my middle name after my grandmother, so I am biased.

Then again I'm obsessed with "old lady" biblical names like Ruth, Esther and Judith. And Clara is one of my best friends' names so it's one I'd consider.

But all that aside, it's a gorgeous name. Strong, not frilly, and ages well.

for me, the claRA and RUth are a little hard for my tongue. i'd recommend Ruth Clara, Claire Ruth or Ruth Claire. I think it's a wondeful choice. don't think of it as "old ladye", think of it as vintage...Ruth Etting 20s singer, Clara Bow sexy 20s actress! It's a beautiful combo!

I always think of Clara as the little girl from the Nutcracker, so I think it is a pretty young sounding name. I really like it :o)
