Aidan, Madiken, Bethel
Jan. 30th, 2008 10:38 pmI was flipping through the channels earlier this evening and I came across a program with a girl called Aidan. Now, I don't really like the name itself but I think I like it better on girls than on boys.
A girl in my niece's dance class is called Madiken (pn Mah Dee Kuhn), it's German I think.
Also, my mother's name is Bethel. I know it's unusual but to me it's normal. How do you feel about her name?

Date: 2008-01-30 10:03 pm (UTC)I know a baby girl named Aidan. I think it's a fairly masculine name. I know for me I wouldn't want to be one of the 10 boys in my class named Aidan but even more that that I wouldn't want to be the 1 girl with that name amongst all 10 boys with it.

Date: 2008-01-31 12:01 pm (UTC)Since Aidan is such a popular boy's name, I can hardly see it on a girl...but there are worse names for girls out there.
I don't like Bethel at all.
