I actually like it. Last year there was a foreign exchange student at my school from Belgium with that name.

I like the name Clementine, but I think someone would have to have the personality to carry it off.

I hate the nickname Clem.

It's not something I would use, but it's grown on me over the years.

Isn't there some folk song where they sing about a Clementine? that is all I think of. I never thought of Eternal Sunshine like other people though, probably because I thought that was a bad movie.

I like the name, but I would never use it because it's apparently gotten suddenly popular with Kate Winslet's portrayal of the eccentric Clementine from Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

.. But I am rather fond of the name.

It makes me think of the song which I find depressing. Also, fruit.

I used to babysit a little girl named Clementine so it really grew on me. However... most of her family called her Clemmy as nickname which I did not like.

It was in one of the Shopaholic books. I'm rather "eh" on it. Don't love, but don't hate.

I hate it. It makes me think of the song, and it's totally redneckish.

I think Clementine is kind of old fashioned and would never think half the things anyone else does.

I think maybe it would be a little too old fashioned for a kid born in the 2000's although, she would stand out amongst all the Aiden, Hayden, Jayden, Braeden's of the next generation.

I don't like it, it's too southern.

When I hear the name Clementine, I actually picture a southern bell in the 1800's with a really thick accent.

It's a good name, but only if you're going for the southern belle sound (unless Eternal Sunshine really stuck on you).
