I work for a mortgage company as the front desk and I input all teh prequal applications from ppl. and in this month alone i have seen some WEIRD names... i'll astrix the ones that i simply shook my head at and i tried to remember genders... it's not on the app i get but most times they call that day to see if the app got through.

i'll keep a better record next month. most of these ppl range btwn the average house-buying age of 20's-30's... once in a while we get someone in their 40's or 50's. - but they tend to have more 'normal' names.... WDYT? is it just me that found these names 'way out there' and 'never seen THAT one before'??

I think the only two names on the entire list that I actually like are Anessa and Angelita. The rest of them are like...WFT? Really?

i'm not sure how most of them are pronounced... i just go off of the written/typed forms... but those two were just serious WTH?! moments when i read them

Veronic messed me up b/c my bosses were all: "you need to be careful when typing/inputting b/c you missed a letter in her name." and then come to find out that that IS how you spell it!!!

lol maybe that's why i'm hard on some of these - is b/c my superiors always call me to make sure i did my job right. (i CAN read.. it's other ppl who can't SPELL!!!!) lol

I've heard Teena/Tina before (and seen it spelled both ways), and I grew up with a Krystalyn and a Twila. There was a Korby a year or two behind me in school, and I think I've heard my husband mention a Korby a few times, as well.

Bernardino and Angelita sound normal, if unusual.
