What nicknames can you think of for Hadassah?

I came up with:
Sadie
Ada
Sarah (meh)
Daisy (long shot, I know)

I am wondering if my husband would like Hadassah if he liked a nickname for it.

Speaking of my husband, who likes common names; I finally found a name that could grow on me that he said he really liked: Elise.

It's less my style, but I don't mind it. What matters is he LIKES it. Wow.

I know a Hadassah. She didn't have a nickname (but then again, nicknames aren't common here, so...) I like Sadie!

Elise is a nice name, I especially like it with Norwegian pronounciation.

What about Hadie? Or even Heidi? ^^

Elise: eh-LEE-seh

In Norwegian e is pronounced like the vowel in bed, and i like in sit. =)

Nicknames I have heard for Hadassah include Dass and Dassi. I know a Dassi who is around two years old; I think the nickname is adorable on her and she'll grow into the name. Hadassah is high on my list of names. :-)

And you don't think Chris is nicknamey? C'mon, it's just the first five letters of his full name; it became a "name" because it's a shortening of Christopher. Dassi or similar (Dassah?) could work equally well for life.

And your child may not want to go by a nickname forever; my parents stuck my brother with Chris for Christopher and me with Beth for Elizabeth, and now we both introduce ourselves differently; I use my full name, and he uses his middle name. I think Hadassah is a good choice because there are so many nickname options, and the full name is beautiful, as well.

I love love love love love Hadassah.
If only my hubby didn't hate it I would use it. And I wouldn't give it any nick name, it's too gorgeous.

I don't really think any of the nicknames you have up there work except maybe Ada.

..Addie or Daz..?

I can't stomach Dass, 'cause it's a somewhat foul name for a loo in Norwegian.. Along the lines of how "shitter/shithouse" is perceived in English..
