So I need to name my daughter already! She's been here three days and I'm getting sick of calling her 'the baby' to her brothers. Her brothers are Fin Diego (usually called Fin-D, as the nick Finny makes me want to stab bunnies) and Che' Montreo (Che-M, which actually grew on us surprisingly quick), and her name will be (something short) Cielo.

This is our shortlist.
Nye Cielo (which I just love the flow of)
Kit Cielo (Kit is just adorable to me, my favourite stand-alone first name)
Day Cielo

Now, Day turns into to the rather neat nick of Day-C, or Daisy. Kit-C (kitschy) is also kind of cute, although Kit is more likely to be nicknamed into Kitty. But whatevs. Kit-C has an OK ring to me. The problem is with Nye - I love how the whole name is sciencey (Cielo BTW is what they named (after the Spanish word obviously) this computer that simulates asteroid collisions with Earth XD Geek flag flyin'!) but Nye-C has got to be the most horrible nick I've matched with any of my choices. Nicey? Yeah, uh, nope.

Here are my questions, then. Can you think of any good nicks for Nye Cielo? AND. While you're here, tell me which of these three names suit my little baby bean best (I went through a stage of wanting to name her Bean but partner vetoed because of Mr. Bean XD).
Here is a cut. With a photo. )

If you saw the name Johanna, how would you pronounce it? It's on the list for sure, but we don't want it to be a burden for our daughter. If there are many different ways that people will say it, that will affect our decision. Thanks for your help.

Some friends Oliver Charles and Susannah "Susie" Sophia just had triplets! They've been tossing names around throughout the pregnancy and came up with James William, Daisy Sophia (which is the exact combo I was considering if I had another child :( )and Elsie (which is a little close to Elsa, my daughters name for my liking, but...). However, Elsie still at six days old doesn't have a middle name. The only family names they've thought about are Anne and Sophia, but neither works. Any ideas? Older siblings (in age in age order): Nathan Charles, Lewis Henry, Zachary Edward.

Other new arrivals:
Benjamin 'Benji-Bob' Robert
Alyssa Rose (Evie Rebecca)
Charles 'Charlie' Paul (George, Megan, Hailey, Jessica 'Jessie')
Lydia (Caleb)
Leo James (Mia Louise, Tea Grace)
