A friend of mine just had twin boys. No word on if they're identical or fraternal. Levi Matthew and Daniel Caleb. They join older brothers Michael Allen (6), Jacob Richard (4), and Timothy Isaac (2). Dad's name is Matthew Steven, Mom is Elizabeth Sara. All in all I think the names are very nice and classic sounding.

I need your advice. I have fallen in love with the name Matteo, which is an Italian name. I, however, have no connection to Italy; I live in Scandinavia and have no ancestors from Southern Europe. Should I give up on Matteo or would you say it doesn't matter? I worry people will always assume he's Italian or ask about his name.

I always think it's interesting when parents sound like they could be in sibsets or have little quirks in their names in common with their children.

For example out of people I know,

Tiffany (the name of a pop star in the late 80s; born in 1992) had Miley (like Miley Cyrus; born in 2010).
Christina (b. 1991) had Neveah (b. 2009) and Faith (b. 2010).

and let's not forget this "type":
Brenda(b. 1970) had Brendan (b. 1992).

Has anyone else noticed anything like that? WDYT?

Gnarley Maguire, 2, had a big adventure when he went for a 20-kilometre ride on his granddad's trailer.
