*This is all hypothetical, as I'm nowhere near being pregnant. I just have an avid interest in names and like to daydream ahead. ;)

Do you think Beth could work as a nickname for Tabitha? I really like the name Tabitha, but I can't stand the nn Tabby. Being three syllables long, I feel like there should be something shorter I could use from time to time.

There are a lot of definite boy's names I like, of course, but I also love girly names on boys. I'm thrilled when I hear of a male Kelly, Dana, or Mackenzie. I also like girly nicknames for boy's names. The obvious benefit of using names that lend themselves to girly nns vs. using "girly" names is that a boy could choose what to go by when older. So here are the ones I like (WDYT? I would use the full name and the nn equally):
Callum nn Callie (This is my number one name and I would probably call him Callum, Cal, and Callie)
Connor nn Connie
Eamon nn Eamy (prn. like Amy)
Benjamin nn Jamie
Jeremiah nn Miah (pronounced like Maya/Maia)

Speaking of "girly" names, what do you think of Mackenzie and Paige on boys?

Going the opposite direction, what do you think of Tallulah nn Lou? Or do you prefer Lu? Like Tabitha, I feel the need to have a short form to use sometimes.
